Hello!
I’m Michelle Danks - an experienced event strategist, creative producer, and passionate conservationist with a global lens and a heart rooted in purpose.
For over a decade, I’ve worked at the intersection of event production, nonprofit storytelling, and environmental impact - leading everything from trade show activations to high-profile festivals to international fundraising campaigns and field-based conservation partnerships.
Currently, I am a Trade Show Account Executive, where I help drive revenue and oversee $4M+ in annual sales. I help global brands turn vision into experience through meticulously designed exhibits and unforgettable show floor environments.
My journey took a transformative turn when I moved to Malawi in 2017 to serve as the International Communications Manager for Lilongwe Wildlife Trust. That moment sparked a deeper mission and ultimately led me to start Emergency Wildlife Rescue (EWR), a San Diego-based nonprofit supporting emergency wildlife rescue and rehabilitation in Africa.
At EWR, I help lead strategy, fundraising, storytelling, and global partnerships - all with the goal of protecting the species that make life on Earth so wildly beautiful.
This year, I’ll complete my Master’s in Wildlife Conservation and Management, and I remain committed to building bridges between people, planet, and purpose - one event, story, or spark of inspiration at a time.
If you’re looking for someone who can craft experiences that move people - I’d love to connect.
-Michelle
